UNU-IAS, the Ministry of Environment of Japan (MOEJ) and CDP will jointly hold the CDP Supply Chain Asia Summit 2017. At this summit, a summary of the implementation of the CDP Supply Chain Programme in 2016, trends in supply chain management, and a report introducing examples from the Programme will be discussed.
CDP launched the CDP Supply Chain Programme in 2009 in order to promote supply chain management implemented by enterprises. In FY 2016, 89 companies worldwide (seven from Japan) participated in the Programme and forwarded a CDP questionnaire to the suppliers of their own companies. The number of responding companies exceeded 8200 with regard to climate change, and 2100 for water. The results of this questionnaire will also be touched on at the summit.
Please note that this event will be held in English and Japanese, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
