The International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) will organize a public forum during its seventh global conference. The forum will serve as a place to exchange the diverse experiences of IPSI members and relevant stakeholders who are working on socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS) around the world. In particular, this event aims to review IPSI’s activities in the light of an assessment of progress in achieving the international commitments such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Aichi Biodiversity Targets. Keynote speakers will include Dr. Kazuhiko Takeuchi, Senior Visiting Professor at UNU-IAS, and Dr. Eduardo Brondizio, Professor at Indiana University (USA).
The event is free and simultaneous interpretation in English and Japanese will be provided.
