As part of the 2021 UNU World Institute for Development Economics Research (WIDER) Development Conference from 6-8 September 2021, UNU-IAS will be convening a panel discussion on the topic of Environmental Sustainability Post-Pandemic on 9 September from 00:15 – 01:00 JST (8 September 18:15-19:00 UTC+3). Speakers include Kensuke Fukushi (Academic Programme Officer, UNU-IAS), Maiko Nishi (Research Fellow, UNU-IAS), and Zita Sebesvari (Deputy Director, UNU-EHS; Head of Section – Environmental Vulnerability and Ecosystem Services (EVES), UNU-EHS).
The three-day UNU-WIDER conference provides a platform for sharing knowledge on the effects of the pandemic in different regions across the Global South with the aim of connecting research and policy communities around the world to discuss how to move forward.
