UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa Kanazawa (OUIK) will hold its next Noto Satoumi Seminar on 27 March 2021 from 14:00 – 16:15 JST. The topic will be about SDG 14.3 from the 10 goals of SDG 14, which aims to minimise and address the impacts of ocean acidification, including through enhanced scientific cooperation at all levels. The event will introduce how ocean warming and acidification impacts marine ecosystems, biodiversity, and fisheries in Japan, as well as discuss what citizens can do to reduce global warming in part to mitigate ocean warming and acidification with experts from Japan and the Noto region.
