This online symposium will mark International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) 2021, on the theme “We’re part of the solution #ForNature”. It will feature presentations sharing the latest developments on the post-2020 global biodiversity framework and initiatives undertaken in Japan. A panel discussion will share detailed action and exchange expert opinions on ways to “be a part of the solution #ForNature.”
The symposium will be co-organised by UNU-IAS, the Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ) and the Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC). It will be supported by the Japan Committee for United Nations Decade on Biodiversity (UNDB-J; TBC).
The event will be held in English and Japanese, with simultaneous translation provided.
In addition to this webinar, two further events will be hosted by the organisers to commemorate IDB 2021. For details please see the bottom of this page.
