This international workshop will consider the impacts and challenges of designated GIAHS sites from the perspectives of the SDGs. Experts from Japan and Korea will introduce GIAHS in the context of SDGs. This event will also draw lessons from GIAHS sites in Japan and Korea, and National Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (NIAHS) to further discuss GIAHS and their contributions towards sustainable regional development.

This event will be held in Korean and Japanese, with simultaneous interpretation provided. For programme details and event registration, please visit the OUIK website (information available in Japanese only).
