This online workshop will be held in June 2020, as part of the UNU-IAS project International Satoyama Initiative (ISI). It will discuss case studies for the Satoyama Initiative Thematic Review (SITR) Vol. 6.
Please note that participation in this workshop is by invitation only.
The International Satoyama Initiative (ISI) project works to promote the Satoyama Initiative, a global effort to realise societies in harmony with nature through the revitalization and sustainable management of “socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes” (SEPLS) for biodiversity and human well-being. SEPLS are areas where human well-being and the ecosystem have a symbiotic relationship, each benefitting from the other.
