UNU-IAS, together with the Global Environmental Outreach Centre (GEOC), will host a Workshop on Best Practices of Local Community Projects. The workshop aims to focus on the future of collaborative initiatives in the environmental sector.
In order to tackle the various issues that local communities face, multi-stakeholders such as citizens, NPOs, the private and the public sector, should come together, share a common purpose, and work in equal partnerships. This forum is being held to share the best practices of eight Japanese local community projects which aim to accelerate community revitalization through multi-stakeholder partnerships. The forum will facilitate discussion on current and future collaboration initiatives among stakeholders in line with the SDGs.
Please be aware that this event will be held in Japanese only, and no English interpretation will be provided. For more information about the programme, please see the Japanese event announcement on the UNU-IAS website.
