On 30 and 31 July, UNU-IAS and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) will co-organise the annual International Forum for Sustainable Asia and the Pacific (ISAP), with a view to engaging the region’s key decision makers in substantive discussions about actionable approaches for realising sustainable development. 2019 marks ISAP’s eleventh year, and this year’s theme is “Inclusive Transformation: Multi-stakeholder Collaboration Driving the World towards a Circulating and Ecological Economy”.

On Day 1, UNU-IAS will organise the Thematic Track 7 session on “Next Step of ESD for Achieving the SDGs” from 15:00–16:00. On Day 2, UNU-IAS Director Kazuhiko Takemoto will serve as a speaker during Opening Session 2 from 9:30–10:00.
