The SDG–University Platform symposium on the future of Japanese universities and their role in achieving the SDGs was featured on Spaceship Earth, an online platform promoting the SDGs.

The event was held on 30 March 2022 and discussed recent SDG–UP activities and ways in which Japanese universities can contribute to society through the achievement of the SDGs. The article provides a summary of the symposium and highlights of each session.
