Applications are now open for the UNU-IAS initiative On-the-Job Research Capacity Building for Food Security and Environmental Conservation in Developing Countries (OJCB). This scheme supports capacity building projects proposed and implemented by leading scientists in developing countries, providing on-the-job training for young researchers.
The initiative aims to increase agricultural productivity through innovation, strengthen research capacity and build networks for cooperation between researchers, ultimately contributing towards ensuring food security and environmental conservation in developing countries. It is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, and coordinated by UNU-IAS.
